Hypercom Terminal Management System (TMS) is a powerful software
solution which allows terminal operators to efficiently manage large
estates of Artema payment terminals and PIN pads for all stages of
the terminal lifecycle, from deployment to remote software upgrade.
TMS enables the user to remotely maintain installed card payment
terminals and PIN pads. Up to 200 terminals can carry out software
upgrades simultaneously, enabling operators to reduce time to market
for new features.

The communication server of TMS
monitors and records the connection
with each terminal. Depending
on which terminal calls, TMS
is then able to complete a number
of predefined tasks, such as:
- Parameter reading and setting
- Parameter updating
- Download of new software modules upgrading existing software
- Software blocking
- Downloading of secure keys
- Diagnostics and statistics reporting

access of non-authorised devices

| Comprehensive and Efficient |
The database management system
of TMS allows merchant information
and business data to be
stored in hierarchical and generic
structures (country, region, organisation,
location, customer, dealer
and contacts). The Graphical
User Interface increases speed of
navigation through the system,
and simplifies the allocation of new
products.
For all help-desk activities TMS
gives a quick overview on the status
of each terminal and PIN pad
be they in stock, shipped or installed.
This allows complete traceability
at any stage of the terminal lifecycle. |
| Flexibility and Autonomy |
To maintain the confidentiality of
each operator’s network, TMS
allows report generation independent
from complicated database
tools or a direct connection to the
system. This allows operators to
automatically obtain an overview
of their terminal and PIN pad estate.
Reports can be sent at regular
agreed intervals.
Access to TMS from remote locations
is also provided using the
system’s XML interface. All business
data, such as merchant
information, terminal parameters
or acquirer card profiles, can be
exchanged over this interface.
TMS can be supplied to operators
to manage their own terminal
estates, or provided as as turn-key
solution, managed by Hypercom on
their behalf. |
