Artema Portable, using secure DECT technology, is a wireless
payment terminal for online and offline transactions in environments
where greater flexibility is required. Card payment is taken to the
cardholder, enabling merchants to ensure greater convenience and
improved service. The terminal is designed to be used in restaurants,
cafés, hotels, retail outlets, and other points of sale where enhanced
customer service is of the essence.

| The DECT wireless link guarantees
secure and reliable data transmission
from the handset to the base,
which connects to the landline network
using a high speed built-in
modem or ISDN module. Additionally,
the base can be integrated
with local networks, or broadband
routers using TCP/IP.
Several handhelds can also be
connected to a single base, providing
increased payment capacity. |
