Hypercom Logo Identity Guide

THE LOGOTYPE
The corporate logotype identifies Hypercom Corporation. To foster recognition and to protect it from copyright infringement, the logotpye must never be altered or manipulated. The Hypercom logotype consists of two graphic arcs and the typeface. The arcs are based on the shape of a boomerang, a tool that always returns to its thrower. As such, they represent dependable and secure transactions when applied to the electronic payment industry. As symbols, the arcs also have a great deal of energy, implying action and responsiveness.

LOGOTYPE SPECIFICATIONS
The Hypercom logotype needs to be clearly visible to be recognized. This diagram indicates the minimum clear space on all sides of the logotype. The minimum horizontal clear space should be equal to the height of the letter "H". The minimum vertical clear space should be equal to twice the height of the letter "H". Whenever possible, more clear space is desirable.

SIZE AND SCALING
The electronic files include all elements of the logotype at their proper placement and proportion. All components of the logotype must maintain their scale in relation to one another. As one component gets larger, the others get proportionally larger. Do not alter these proportions when reducing or enlarging the signature.

MINIMUM LOGOTYPE SIZE
The Hypercom logotype should not be used at a width of less than 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).
LOGOTYPE COLORS
The official Hypercom identity colors are PMS 654 and PMS Cool Grey 8. These are to be used as spot colors for printing when applicable. These can be converted to 4-color process as necessary.
