The Hypercom® Visual HyperWare Developers Toolkit (VHDT™) is a global development tool to help developers rapidly create new and sophisticated applications for traditional and specialty market segments. VHDT runs in simulation mode on PCs, eliminating additional, often expensive, development equipment and supports the ICE™ and T7Plus family of terminals. This enables applications developed for one terminal platform to be easily ported to another terminal platform.

Product Benefits

VHDT is based on CPOS and compiled entirely in Microsoft Visual C++. The Win 32 TLIB and UTILLIB libraries, along with the Win32 version of the terminal options system are written in ANSI C. The CPOS base application is written in ANSI C. VHDT provides application simulation and source-level debugging. The "PassThru" application running on ICE and T7Plus terminals adds real dialup connections, encryption and smart card support to the application simulation running in the PC. Build Manager works with Microsoft NMAKE and PVCS Configuration Builder to build the application downloaded to the terminal.

Product Modules

VHDT is tightly integrated and synchronized with the current version of CPOS, enabling developers to write code for credit, debit, gift, loyalty and ERC functions. It is also able to interface to Term-Master® Suite, Hypercom ISO 8583 host module and all other functions supported by CPOS modules.
