At the heart of the Optimum L4000 series payment terminals lies the Hypercom Forms Processing Engine (FPE). FPE32 is a simple to use, PC based set of graphical tools that simplifies the process of integrating Optimum L4000 series payment terminals to POS and other in-store systems. FPE32 allows retailers to customize payment transaction flows and advertising content that can be displayed on these graphical terminals. This customer-specific look and feel includes logos, graphics and advertising data files that can be downloaded dynamically to ensure customer brands are maintained at all levels.
Based on years of experience in terminal application development, FPE32 does exactly what most retailers want, without having to write a single line of code in the terminal. Using a detailed API document, retailers or integrators can interface Optimum platforms to ECR’s or host systems in a matter of days rather than the more typical 4-6 months. |
